Returns Policy
Returning an Item
If you change your mind, you can return your online purchase for a refund within 21 days of receiving your order. This
also applies to items bought during promotions. However, please remember that all items from the promotion, including
any free gifts, must be returned for a full refund.
Make sure to include your original receipt when returning items. Until we receive the products back in their original packaging, Croghan Homeware is not responsible for any loss or damage during the return process. We recommend ensuring your return is securely packaged and you retain proof of postage and a tracking number for your own peace of mind. Free returns are offered for all our customers.
Please note, your statutory rights are unaffected by this policy.
Items that Cannot be Returned
For health and safety reasons, the following cannot be returned:
- Opened or unsealed products.
- Items that cannot be returned for hygiene reasons once opened.
- Food items, including hampers.
Return or Exchange Process
For any return weighing less than 20kg, please follow the instructions below. For larger items, use our Contact Us page
and provide your order number so we can assist you.
Returning from the Republic of Ireland
Option 1: Via Post
1. If you would like to speak with us about an issue before returning, contact us. We’ll do our best to resolve the problem. If you’d prefer to proceed directly, skip to Step 2.
2. Visit https://www.anpost.com/returns and follow the instructions.
3. Choose ‘Croghan’ from the retailer dropdown menu and include your order number for speedy processing.
4. You can either print a label or schedule a collection where An Post will provide the label upon pickup.
5. You’ll receive a confirmation email once we’ve received your returned package and processed your refund. Please allow up to 14 days for your return to reach us.
Returning from Northern Ireland
1. Carefully package the item(s), ideally in the original packaging. If this isn’t possible, ensure it’s well-packed to avoid damage.
2. Head to dpd.ie/returns to complete the return process. Print your label and drop the package off at a DPD location. You’ll have full tracking on your return.
3. Be sure to include your order number to prevent delays in processing.
4. Returns may take up to 14 days to reach us.
International Returns
We are not open to international orders yet but watch this space as we expand to your market.
Refund Processing
Once your return has been received and inspected, we will issue a refund to the original payment method used for the
purchase. Refunds may take up to 14 days from the date you notify us of your return. We will send you an email
confirmation when your refund has been processed. Depending on your bank or payment provider, it may take some
additional time for the funds to appear in your account.
Right of Withdrawal
In addition to our return policy, you have the right to withdraw from your contract within 14 days of receiving your items. You do not need to give a reason for this withdrawal.
To exercise this right, simply notify us within 14 days of receiving your order. You can use our cancellation form, available [here]. If you contact us within this period, it will count as meeting the deadline.
Refund after Withdrawal
Once we’ve been notified of your decision to withdraw, we will refund the full amount paid, including standard delivery charges,
within 14 days.
Refunds will be made via the same method of payment used for your order.
We may delay the refund until the items are returned or proof of return is provided. You’ll need to return the items to us at the following address:

You are responsible for the cost of returning the items and ensuring they arrive safely. Any handling of the items beyond what is necessary to establish their nature and function may result in a reduction of the refund.
Exceptions to Withdrawal
The right to withdraw does not apply to:
- Custom or personalised products.
- Sealed goods that cannot be returned for hygiene reasons once opened.
